Hemispheric CSF ratio

Separation of CSF segmentation (using a deep learning approach) into two hemispheres using a registered midline. Green regions are ipsilateral to the stroke and red are contralateral. The hemispheric CSF ratio is the ratio of the ipsilateral to contralateral CSF volumes. Shown is how the CSF ratio decreases in stroke patients with edema over the first days after stroke.
