Machine learning approach to segment regions of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) from CT scans after stroke. A shows thresholding approach with significant false positives (green). B shows the random forest approach (Yellow is true positive segmentation). C shows the refined results using active contouring to correct segmentation.
